Pieter Veenstra is a fancier with a solid reputation in pigeon racing internationally. Everyone is familiar with such prestigious names as Dolce Vita, Rolex, Mr. Blue, Golden Blue, Chanel No. 5, Sissy, Da Vincy, Special Blue, etc.

In this auction, which takes place from 2nd of February to 14th of January 2018 here on PIPA, we have quite a collection of brothers/sisters, youngsters/grandchildren on offer. Pieter is always looking for the best pigeons on the market in The Netherlands and Belgium, which means this auction is full of highly renowned pigeons from across Europe, including direct pigeons of such modern-day grandmasters as Bart Geerinckx, Jos Joosen, Leo Heremans, Rudi De Saer, Hardy Kruger, Bart Van Oeckel, Gerard Koopman, etc.

He also has quite a collection of National Ace Pigeons, NPO winners, and of course the invaluable breeding hen Miss Overegge, which has kept fanciers in Belgium and the Netherlands in awe for quite some time.

De Vroe-Van Gaver-Vandeputte Pigeons has been winning numerous provincial and zonal victories and KBDB championship titles over the years, making them one of the most renowned pigeon lofts around. They are known for their invaluable pigeon collection that has been successful across many competitions, and across many seasons. In 2016 they won the title of 1st National Champion Long Distance Olds Belgium KBDB, and in 2017 they added a 1st Nat. Tulle to their collection, and they are nominated for several national ace pigeon competitions as well
